Scientific Board

The scientific board or advisory council acts as advisor to IGIP. It supports the worldwide promotion of the goals of the association.

The members of this board advise

with planning and organising of symposia, regional meeting, Summer Schools and special projects

with the further development of IGIP - with cooperations worldwide

with advertising a prize in science, engineering or engineering pedagogy

Chairman of the Scientific Board

Dr. Erhard Busek

Dr. Busek is chairman of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe, Vienna and Special Co-ordinator of The Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. He is a former vice-chancellor of the Republic of Austria, a former head of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology and a former head of the Federal Ministry of Education, Austria.
